I imagine at some point, the boy in love made his move and it wasn't taken too well from the other. Whether or not this was the cause of the other guy moving is unknown. However, we know enough to understand that the straight guy didn't deem it necessary to inform him of his new whereabouts or his new number. In the end, the gay boy remains in love yet alone.
